Alcoholism is a scourge. We think it is only for others, for drunkards, as we are used to saying. Yet alcoholism can affect anyone in a lifetime.
First of all, let’s be clear, you don’t become an alcoholic overnight, by waking up one early morning and saying to yourself “Hey, if I drank today”.
Unless of course having suffered a disaster in our life which we are unable to cope with (a death, a big depression …) alcoholism creeps in slowly and not suddenly.
The Alcoholism Guide should tell you more about how you become an alcoholic and how you can make a difference.
This is how the vast majority of alcoholics become so after having started to drink their evening aperitif every evening.
The body then gets used to this dose of alcohol that it receives in the blood and if, previously, drinking one or two glasses of alcohol in the evening after work allowed us to relax, this does not is that of short duration… the doses of alcohol must be increased.
We then find ourselves, not drinking a glass of whiskey on Friday evening to unwind at the end of the week… but three glasses of whiskey… every night of the week!
How then to break this gear? There is only one answer to that: sport!
Sport will literally change your habits and put an end to this noxious, even deadly cycle, dare we say it!
Of course, you could also decide to seek help from professionals such as, for example, the Adios Institute , to remedy your alcoholism problem.
THE BENEFITS OF SPORT TO STOP DRINKING
You will literally change your life through sport, don’t doubt that for a moment. Your challenge, however, will be to tarnish over time …
The advantages of sport on alcoholism are obviously numerous, as you can imagine!
EVACUATE TOXINS FROM THE BODY
The first of these benefits would simply be the fact that by integrating two or three sports sessions during the week, you will allow your body to evacuate all the toxins that you will have accumulated in your body, and toxins when you drink on a regular basis, god knows if there will be any to evacuate.
IMPROVE YOUR CARDIO
Doing endurance sports, such as exercise bikes, running on a treadmill or outdoors, or even swimming, for example… allows without any possible ambiguity to improve your cardio.
Also, by practicing endurance physical activity at least twice a week, Wednesday midweek and Saturday weekend, for example, you will gradually improve your cardiovascular system.
ALLOWING YOU TO FORGET ABOUT ALCOHOL
Little by little, playing sports will make you forget your desire to drink alcohol. Your habits will be changed without you even realizing it and you won’t even think of drinking your glasses of whiskey… Who would want to drink whiskey after a workout ?!
